The Adoption Process
Thank you for considering adopting one of our animals. Please keep in mind that the adoption process at the Little Guild is very thorough for a reason! Our animals have been in situations of neglect or abuse and many times just left behind.
Once you have chosen an animal that is compatible with you, your family and your lifestyle, and you have completed our application, there is a minimum waiting period of 24 hours. This allows our adoption committee time to review your application and check the suitability of the adoption.
The minimum adoption donation for our felines is $150. This helps defray the cost of all vaccines, Feline Aids and Leukemia testing, fecal tests, treatment when necessary, and dental work when needed. All of our felines are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
The adoption donation for our dogs is a minimum of $225. This helps defray the cost of all vaccines, fecal testing, Heart Worm and Lyme testing (and treatment for any dog that tests positive), and dental cleanings and dental work when needed. Additionally, all of our dogs are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
