***Abby Needs Your Help!!***

abbyAbby, a sweet one year old yellow lab who arrived in Connecticut with her five puppies has become very sick.  Despite getting excellent care in her foster home, and by two veterinary hospitals, Abby still needs additional diagnostic tests and care.  She is currently hospitalized at Sand Road Animal Hospital and we need your help to get her better and on her way to a forever home!  A donation of any amount is appreciated.

One-Time Donations

The Little Guild finds home for several hundred cats and dogs every year. Providing proper care for animals is expensive and without your help, it wouldn’t be possible. As a registered non-profit organization, donations are the way we are able to provide for the shelter costs and care of the pets. The Little Guild is a local leader in the areas of rescue, adoption and welfare, and your tax-deductible donation will make a life-changing difference for our dogs and cats. Medical exams, spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and food are just some of the ways that donations are used every single day.

Planned Giving Pledge

“Planned giving” is a term commonly used to describe a wide variety of giving vehicles that allow you to give to charity during your lifetime and/or after your death, while meeting your current income needs and providing for your heirs. Planned giving is typically done in conjunction with estate planning, and is a viable option for donors of all income levels.

From a donor’s perspective, planned giving is attractive for many reasons. It may allow you to make larger gifts than you otherwise could out of your current assets. Depending on how a planned gift is set up, it may also let you receive a stream of income for life, earn higher investment yield, or reduce your capital gains or estate taxes. Planned gifts often appeal to people who want to benefit a charitable organization but aren’t certain how much of their assets they’ll need for themselves during their lifetimes.

Please contact the Director of the Little Guild at 860-672-6346 to discuss the variety of options for supporting the work of the Little Guild through planned giving.
